Tony and his team took the decision, early March, to cease all marketing communication to his audience. Engaging Tony to entertain during a special event is always a discretionary/luxury purchase, and something (we felt) people didn't need, or want to hear about during the height of the pandemic. Even though many countries in the Mediterranean have been open for charter and private trips for some time now, Tony has taken a very cautious approach to entertaining onboard. We are seeing that the number of yachts making trips around the Med are increasing weekly, but hear there is still a reluctance for guests to go ashore, preferring the seclusion of the yacht. We have slowly reactivated our operations and successfully delivered a small number of entertainment experiences onboard during evening dinners/drinks.
