I always smile when I attend an event and someone asks me if I have a day job! The answer of course is yes ... professional magician! It's not only a day job, it can be an evening job, or night job.
There was a time when I specialised as a wedding magician and a lot of my bookings were at weekends but a steady increase in corporate demand means I now have an any-day-of-the-week job ... and I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm one of those very lucky people who love their work - I can't think of anything better!
Apart from being passionate about magic, I love the variety. One day, I might be entertaining buyers at a product launch, or guests at a store opening. The next day, I can be bamboozling visitors to an exhibition stand or mingling at an awards ceremony.
The range of events I get booked for continues to expand, largely due to people who have been impressed by my magic and recommended me.
A personal recommendation is invaluable so I was delighted to get a glowing email from clients Sal and Matt Fennes in April saying:
' We have already given out your details to several of our guests :)!'
Newlyweds Mr and Mrs Ogilvie wrote:

And after another booking, Steve McQueen wrote:
